Valentino Rossi's Comments
Valentino Rossi also said that apart from the accident, he had difficulties in the Catalunya MotoGP race after the start.
Bad race, because we hoped to be more competitive with a strong pace. Especially in FP3, FP4 and during the warm-up session I wasn't too bad
We decided to use hard compound tires because we had a good feeling in the warm-up session. But unfortunately during the race I felt a bit of grip and I had a hard time from the start of the race.
"The rear tire does not have enough grip and the tire spins too aggressively. Then I crashed at Turn 10," continued the 42-year-old racer.
Valentino Rossi and other riders will return to asphalt at the Catalunya Circuit for a test session on Monday (07/06/2021).
