Alphard Vellfire Now More Sophisticated

Toyota launched the latest Alphard and Vellfire, June 3, 2021. Alphard and Vellfire have more advanced features. The Vellfire's appearance is also updated to be more sporty.

Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire luxury MPVs are now getting an update. PT Toyota Astra Motor updated the MPV Luxury Toyota New Alphard and New Vellfire in the middle of 2021. Toyota Alphard and Vellfire now get advanced features that are packaged in Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). TSS itself is similar to the features in the Toyota Raize.

And at this moment of 50 years of Toyota's journey in Indonesia, we again present improvements to the New Alphard and New Vellfire by increasing safety features and refreshing the appearance to provide an enjoyable and personalized mobility experience for customers, said President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor, Susumu Matsuda in a written statement, Thursday (3/6/2021).

Now, the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) feature on the New Alphard and New Vellfire has been improved. The ACC feature can be activated at a speed of 0 km / h from the previous one that can only be activated if the car has touched a speed of 50 km / h. Improvements to the ACC feature provide comfort to New Alphard and New Vellfire users, while increasing the safety factor in mobility.

ACC itself is part of the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) feature that has been applied to the Alphard and Vellfire since early 2020. TSS consists of security features such as Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Automatic High Beam (AHB). In addition, Alphard and Vellfire are also equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS) features.

Toyota Vellfire Looks More Sporty

Not only more sophisticated features, Toyota also brings a new touch to the Toyota Vellfire design. Now, the appearance of the Toyota Vellfire is more sporty.

As a luxury MPV that is thick with a sporty feel, the Vellfire now comes with a more sporty exterior design. The sporty aura of the New Vellfire emanates from the new design, from the Impressive Front Lower Bumper, Dynamic Side Skirt, to the Sleek Rear Bumper.

While on the interior side, the Speedometer Ring on the New Vellfire is now also given a red accent to enhance the sporty aura in the car. To complement customer choices, Toyota also offers a new color choice for the New Vellfire, namely Sparkling Black Pearl.

Meanwhile, Alphard and Vellfire complement each other in Toyota's Luxury MPV segment. Even though they are in the same segment, Alphard and Vellfire have different characters. Alphard comes with a design with a luxurious, elegant, and formal feel. Meanwhile, the Vellfire features a modern and high tech look with a bold and sporty impression.

The Alphard and Vellfire are referred to as MPVs in the most popular high-end segment. Both achieved 70.3% wholesale market share during January-April 2021.

Alphard was officially marketed by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) in Indonesia in 2008. Then in 2015, TAM started marketing the Vellfire. Since the beginning of its presence in the national automotive market, total wholesale sales of Alphard and Vellfire from 2008 to April 2021 have reached 28,458 units.
